Mana Deschisa Summer Update of the Ukrainian Refugee Program

We are committed to helping the children living in Casa Philadelphia grow into strong, compassionate Christians. The staff cares for the children and provides food, water, shelter, education, and love through Jesus Christ. Eight children live in the house and are in need of monthly sponsors: Gabriel, Denisa, Daniel, Justin, Edi, Sonia, Bogdan, and Claudiu.

Gabriel and Denisa were the first children ever to move into Casa Philadelphia in 2014. They are very happy and playful kids, but they were not thrilled about getting their first pair of glasses recently. Both siblings are very cuddly and loveable with the staff and other children.
Daniel is presently in tenth grade and is doing very well. He faced some family troubles a few years ago, which set him back in school, and he didn’t think he would ever be able to catch up. However, through Reach to Romania and Daniel’s strong work ethic, he applied and was accepted into Hateg National College (a form of high school). He also serves as a role model to the younger children now.
Justin is Daniel’s little brother. At the age of nine, Justin loves dinosaurs and can tell anyone all about them. He has especially grown fond of telling all the ladies about his interesting dinosaurs. Both Justin and Daniel came to the house in 2016 with many life struggles; however, they have both improved significantly and are bright young boys.
Edi, Sonia, and Bogdan are all siblings as well. Edi attends school and is doing quite well. Edi has a strong work ethic, and it shows in his work. Sonia has some trouble focusing in school, but she is very bright. She likes to write and has very pretty handwriting. Bogdan tries his best to keep up with his siblings, but he is still very young. He just turned seven in January.
Claudiu is the newest addition to the family. He is a very responsible young man and is doing very well in school. He is very active and gets along with the other kids like he has known them forever. Claudiu, Justin, and Gabriel call themselves The Three Musketeers. 
Every child is very loving, smart, and trying very hard to succeed. Each child works hard in school and in their Christian faith. They enjoy going to church, and sometimes they even argue over who gets to pray for everyone each night. These children are in need of wonderful sponsors who will love and support them in their faith. We can’t accomplish our mission without you help.
